  • Some Fortnite PC gamers who purchased V-Bucks from the Microsoft Store did not receive anything.
  • Strange, considering it usually only takes a few seconds for them to appear on your account.
  • However, purchased addons can take up to 72 hours to apply, but it is still annoying for gamers.
  • V-Bucks can only be used on the platform you purchased them from, they are not transferable at all.

Fancy a little competition with your friends on Fortnite? Then you will surely need to acquire some supplies for the coming battle.

And if you run out of V-Bucks, you can always head to the Microsoft Store or the Epic Games Store and get more, depending on your needs.

A fairly straightforward process, however, there are reports that the in-game currency purchased from the Microsoft Store still has not appeared on the player’s account even after more than 12 hours, on the PC version.

This is because it is true that when it comes to content or add-ons that you can purchase for a specific online game, these add-ons can take up to 72 hours to appear on our accounts.

But, as many of you will surely agree, this is actually an anomaly, as once purchased, new content, gear, or currency is transferred almost instantly to the targeted account.

Even though customer support can be contacted, such issues are extremely annoying for some people as they involve real money.

Again, this could just be a matter of waiting, given that millions of these microtransactions are happening at any given time.

What you should also keep in mind is that the V-Bucks you buy from the Microsoft Store can be used on Xbox, PC, or mobile, but cannot be transferred or used on other consoles.

Basically how it usually works, after purchase, V-Bucks can be used on PC, but you need to launch the game on Xbox first, in order to sync them with the Epic account.

That being said, if you don’t have an Xbox console to play Fortnite on, you’ll need to purchase the currency either in-game or through the Epic Gamesa Store.

Another important thing to keep in mind when dealing with Fortnite in-game currency is that it is not transferable between platforms.

If you find yourself in a similar situation, be sure to wait the required 72 hours first. If you still do not receive it, we encourage you to contact customer service and fix the problem.
